Your moments are personal. They do not need an audience.
Your moments stay local
Back Online stores selected states, completed activities, completion times, optional feedback and preferences on your device. Suggestions and personal patterns are calculated locally. We do not receive your history or infer your current mood remotely.
No account or tracking
The app has no account, ads, analytics SDK or app-operated cloud sync. It does not request your location, contacts, microphone, camera or HealthKit data. We do not sell your personal information.
Audio
Soundscapes and effects are bundled files played on your device. No microphone recording, streaming or AI generation happens in the app. Audio choices are stored locally.
Optional purchase
Apple processes the optional one-time Full Library purchase. The app uses StoreKit to verify purchase status on your device and restore access through your Apple Account. We do not receive your card details or send purchase records to a developer-operated server. Apple's privacy practices apply to its payment services. No Back Online account is required.
Your control
Delete history in Settings removes saved moments and feedback, while keeping preferences. Removing the app removes its local data. Device backups managed by Apple may retain or restore app data according to your backup settings.
Links and support
Opening our website or a research link connects to that website and its privacy practices apply. Email support opens your email app; no history, logs or attachments are added automatically. If you send a message, we and our email providers process the address and information you choose to share to reply and resolve your request.
This website
These pages do not include analytics, advertising pixels, forms or embedded third-party media. Fonts and images are served with the site. A hosting provider may process standard request information, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the website. Research links lead to external sites with their own practices.
